Clarinet Lessons for All

Lessons for 4-12 grade

PARENTS: If you want your child to have excellent instruction at some point during their elementary, middle school, and high school education, then I welcome your interest. I don’t recommend introducing the clarinet to children until 4th grade. In fact, 6th or 7th grade is an ideal time to begin. I give half-hour lessons for 4th-8th grade and one-hour lessons to 9th grade and beyond. Contact me for pricing.

Lessons for Adults

The phrase ‘adult beginner’ can sound patronizing. It implies you are learning something you should have started as a young person. Not true, learning is not just for the young. Follow your heart and revisit the clarinet for whatever the reason. For example, perhaps you once played and now you would like to become a member of a community band or orchestra. Or you already are a part of an ensemble and you would like to step up your clarinet game, contact me for pricing.

Lessons for College-aged

If you want a lesson on a specific piece(s) or how to approach a technique, then contact me for pricing.
